Sun Ray Cafe

Sun Ray Cafe is located at 79 Brighton Crescent.

We went on a weekday afternoon, but the cafe was still pretty crowded.
Prices are standard cafe price. The pet-friendly area of the cafe is a little cramped imo for the dogs to play or mix around. Although it's really more of a pet-friendly cafe than a pet-cafe. Most of the patrons there on that day kept their dogs leashed/near them too, and not all tables at the pet-friendly area had pets! No interaction for Aubrey that day :(

The food offerings at Sun Ray Cafe are a lot better than other pet cafes though. Food here is definitely the highlight.

Top: Beer Battered Fish & Chips $16
Bottom: Poached Egg & Smoked Salmon $18

The beer battered f&c came with truffle fries, which according to J, were damn tasty. I didn't get to try the fries, so no comments. Also, they were J's first truffle fries so he doesn't have anything to benchmark it against.

The poached egg dish was very small in portion and wasn't worth the price imo, although the smoked salmon and hollandaise sauce were great (truffle too!).

Ice Lemon Tea $3 and Mocha $5

The ice lemon tea was very refreshing with herbs infused. The Mocha was okay, nothing spectacular.

On whole, Sun Ray Cafe is worth a visit! Perhaps on a more crowded day, there would be more pets roaming around :)
